How does Virus Resistance Institute work in Last Z Season 1: Outbreak?

In Season 1: Outbreak, players collect Mutant Samples (roughly 12,000 per day for F2P players) to upgrade 3 progression branches in the Virus Resistance Institute, requiring 555,000 total Mutant Samples to fully max.

What should I hoard for Season 1: Outbreak in Last Z: Survival Shooter?

Universal & Construction Speed-ups: 120 Hours (Push HQ 20-24 early to unlock higher march capacity and T7/T8 troops before City Lv.4 opens.) Fuel / Stamina Cans: 50 Cans (Farm highest-tier Infected & Radar missions on Day 1 to rush Virus Resistance levels.) Universal Gold Hero Fragments: 150 Fragments (Immediately bring your primary S1 carry (Nyx, Selena, or Sakura) to 3-star on VS Heroes Day.) Courage Badges: 45,000 Badges (Complete Alliance Recognition multiplier nodes early so every VS day yields double chests.) 8h & 24h Peace Shields: 10 Shields (Required for Saturday Kill Event (Combat Day) and initial Capitol border skirmishes.)
